Keep the 16GB Ada SKU and x8 interface explicit in compact-workstation qualification.
NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation is assessed here as an exact Ada Lovelace board configuration. Its published 16 GB capacity is the starting point for a workload qualification, not a measured serving or rendering result.
Exact model and memory variants
RTX 2000 Ada is a 16 GB GDDR6 ECC70 W desktop board with a low-profile dual-slot body. Its interface is PCIe Gen4 x8.
| Variant | Memory | Published board power | Cooling / format |
|---|---|---|---|
| NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation | 16 GB GDDR6 ECC | 70 W | Active; low-profile dual slot |

LLM backend and memory budget
Choose a control quantized artifact for 16 GB and bound context separately. Desktop2000 Ada does not inherit Ampere A2000 6/12 GB capacities or laptop-product specifications.
Passing the architecture requirement does not certify every model, quantization kernel or prebuilt package.
Compatibility evidence: vLLM GPU requirements.
Cycles and batch rendering
Test RTX rendering with a complete scene including denoising.16 GB does not define universal scene complexity. Against A2000, retain identical input files and the same backend.

Integration into a server or workstation
The x8 electrical interface and dual-slot body must both be recorded; a visible full-length connector elsewhere in the host does not change the GPU specification. Check the bracket supplied for the actual workstation.
A concrete qualification scenario
A lab standardizes compact workstations previously mixing A2000 6 GB and 12 GB. Establish a fresh16 GB Ada inventory row, keep one model/context control and rerun the shared scene. Record device enumeration after deployment rather than relying on the old workstation image description. If an older package fails before loading, treat that as software qualification evidence rather than a 16 GB memory shortage.
The evidence to retain
Keep an ordinary qualification record with the actual test outputs.
Identify the tested variant, software build and execution mode before entering observations. Leave unavailable measurements explicitly unknown.
The fields below separate published specifications from observed allocation and job completion, so a later operator can repeat the same case.
| Evidence field | What this profile must retain |
|---|---|
| Hardware identity | NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation; physical variant and reported device identifier |
| Memory boundary | 16 GB published; observed free memory before and after loading |
| Inference artifact | Exact weights digest, quantization, context and offload configuration |
| Render artifact | Scene digest, renderer version, backend and denoising setting |
| System envelope | Driver, container/build digest, enclosure and cooling configuration |
| Completion evidence | Application exit status, output validity and observed memory failures |
Record the x8 electrical interface as well as the bracket and memory; external connector length cannot determine every link property.
