A managed client gateway is not automatically a channel accepting independent GPU providers. Evaluate that commercial role separately.
Requesty is a managed LLM-access service: an application calls a gateway working with configured models and policies. This moves some integration logic out of application code. GPU owners should distinguish that interface from an offer to accept any machine into a commercial pool.
Official documentation was checked on November 1, 2026. We describe documented functions and a verification method without applying promotional speed or savings claims to your workload.
Begin with one working scenario
Requesty’s Quickstart shows a common endpoint and model selection. Choose a clear pilot result, such as short chat, structured output or tools. Verify basic compatibility before adding routing and controls.
Changing the API address is not a complete migration test. Check streaming, generation termination, errors and usage. Confirm special supplier parameters for the chosen model separately rather than assuming compatibility from a successful text reply.
Make policy explicit
Fallback Policies documents model chains and transitions after errors. Configure primary and backup options with comparable required capabilities, then define acceptable answer differences.
For example, a backup returns correct prose but violates a mandatory JSON schema. Transport success is not task success. The report therefore needs both API status and application-level validation after switching. Preserve the distinction when comparing routes and maintaining the client.
Establish whose keys are used
Requesty BYOK supports customer credentials for supported providers. The team retains a separate relationship with the model supplier. Compare managed keys and BYOK through billing and fallback rules as well as convenience.
Record credential selection for every route and behavior when it becomes unavailable. This affects invoices, limits and data handling. Never include working secrets in reports or public example configurations.
Check analytics and data handling
Reconcile sent requests with logs: model, actual executor, attempts and cost. Request content and technical telemetry are different layers; inspect logging settings for the actual organization and key. A dashboard’s existence does not establish every retention rule you require.
For sensitive work, map the data path and check each executor’s conditions. The router adds a participant even when it simplifies application development. Keep that architectural fact visible rather than treating managed access as the disappearance of operating responsibilities.
Interpret the infrastructure result
Requesty can be a client gateway option. Treating it as an independent GPU-provider onboarding channel needs separate confirmed terms; this overview makes no such conclusion.
