NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 is assessed here as an exact Turing board configuration. Its published 24 GB capacity is the starting point for a workload qualification, not a measured serving or rendering result.

## Exact model and memory variants

Quadro RTX 6000 Turing provides24 GB GDDR6 ECC, with 295 W board power and 260 W graphics power. A6000 and 6000 Ada instead name48 GB products.

| Variant | Memory | Published board power | Cooling / format |
|---|---|---|---|
| NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 | 24 GB GDDR6 ECC | 295 W | Active; Full-height dual slot |

## LLM backend and memory budget

Turing remains above the current vLLM minimum, but verify backend precision and package support rather than assuming newer Ampere/Ada kernels. Used-card inspection and the usable memory budget precede serving claims.

Passing the architecture requirement does not certify every model, quantization kernel or prebuilt package.

Compatibility evidence: [vLLM GPU requirements](https://docs.vllm.ai/en/stable/getting_started/installation/gpu/).

## Cycles and batch rendering

First-generation RT cores support applicable OptiX rendering. Test the production scene and driver; multi-GPU scene memory requires explicit application support.

## Integration into a server or workstation

Preserve the Quadro prefix and active thermal identity in host inventory. The [vGPU support table](https://docs.nvidia.com/vgpu/gpus-supported-by-vgpu.html) limits this family to branch19; that lifecycle does not itself withdraw every bare-metal CUDA or Cycles path.

## A concrete qualification scenario

A project spreadsheet saysRTX6000 but omits generation and memory. Reconcile the board before assigning a 48 GB-targeted artifact. Use an independently bounded24 GB case and a complete scene appropriate to the selected renderer. Save the device name and memory observation with the spreadsheet correction. The purpose is to prevent an inventory-name mistake from masquerading as a software regression or faulty GPU.

## The evidence to retain

Keep an ordinary qualification record with the actual test outputs.

Identify the tested variant, software build and execution mode before entering observations. Leave unavailable measurements explicitly unknown.

The fields below separate published specifications from observed allocation and job completion, so a later operator can repeat the same case.

| Evidence field | What this profile must retain |
|---|---|
| Hardware identity | NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000; physical variant and reported device identifier |
| Memory boundary | 24 GB published; observed free memory before and after loading |
| Inference artifact | Exact weights digest, quantization, context and offload configuration |
| Render artifact | Scene digest, renderer version, backend and denoising setting |
| System envelope | Driver, container/build digest, enclosure and cooling configuration |
| Completion evidence | Application exit status, output validity and observed memory failures |

A24 GB Quadro result must not be relabeled as 48 GB A6000/Ada evidence simply because all names contain6000.
